One of my favorite whump tropes for vampire whumpees is Oh No I'm Hurt and Not Healing Because I Need Blood and There's None Except My Human Friend/Lover/Caregiver. And they SWORE they'd never hurt them or take blood from them and their caregiver is begging them to drink because they're in danger and I Want to Help You. Then the vampire whumpee gives in and is consumed with guilt over it. They're healed and their human wasn't hurt too bad but they feel like a MONSTER. And human is just, I'd Do It a Thousand Times to Keep You Safe.

“Liminality?” Bruce asked. Phantom shrugged.

“Any side effects you would notice are only caused by high levels of exposure, nothing like this low-level radiation. But, well… Ectoplasm is both attracted to emotions and attracted by emotions. And ectoplasm heightens emotions, too. The fact that the human race has been alive so long, evolved to feel more complex emotions, it’s because the ectoplasm bonded enough with humanity to allow that. Humans achieved sentience because they could feel enough to determine they existed. Without ectoplasm, slowly those emotions will fade. And…” Phantom hesitated.

“…I can’t say that humanity will become nonsentient once again, not for sure. But I can say that you will slowly, generation by generation, lose the feelings you have now.”

im proud of scarabs character name simply cause cavalier used as an adjective can mean someone who doesnt care for others. also really proud of his sickle thing- its like the mandibles of a beetle but it acts like a guiding weapon rather than attacking, so he can just hook people and completely displace their movements but it can also be used for punching like brass knuckles

Just like Humans, Fairies also struggle with doing cool stunts! Sure, they can fly about in the air in ways humans can never do on the ground, but their wings are not as flexible as one would think!!! Doing so much as a flip takes a lot of effort!! Its sorta like doing a handstand.
